Tuesday, Feb. 27th, 2024  6-10pm @ Factory 220 Passaic, NJ

The Event

The wines served at the Grand Tasting are curated from the Jewish Link Wine Guide's 2024 featured selections, and all participating distributors and wineries who participate in the magazine annually have been invited to pour their highest-end selections. The rankings in the Wine Guide have traditionally focused on bubbly and still white wines in the categories of under and over $50, and red wines, single varietal, blends and esoteric-in-kosher varieties, priced under and over $50. Selected late harvest, sweet and fortified wines will also be served. The wines served will serve as a "sneak peek" of the Jewish Link Wine Guide 2024, which will be released on March 15, 2024.

Welcome to Factory 220: Where History Meets Elegance in the Heart of Passaic, NJ!

Nestled in the vibrant tapestry of Passaic’s industrial heritage, Factory 220 emerges as a unique jewel, breathing new life into a century-old factory. Our venue is a canvas of heritage, where the echoes of the past harmonize with contemporary sophistication, creating an extraordinary space for your most cherished moments.

In 2023, we were met with 660+ bottles as entries in our ranked tastings, and we made special efforts to highlight wines that are unique in the kosher world, both for those who wish to move beyond a basic cab or refreshing chardonnay and to thank those who make niche wines available for the kosher marketplace. While these may not be wines from far-flung corners of the world, they are few and far between in the kosher world; Even if there are 1500 Gavi di Gavis made in Italy, there’s only one available kosher. We’ve continued to engineer our rankings and sought to improve our top 10 varietal lists, including “best worldwide lists” for cabernet, merlot, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, “Israeli blends” and others. We hope you enjoy these lists and find them useful as you shop for Pesach and throughout the year.

Our 2024 Jewish Link Wine Guide will be released in mid-March, 2024, following the Jewish Link Wine Guide tasting!
